Plum Middle School off to a 2-0 start!

The Middle School Mustangs are off to a 2-0 start with wins of 7-2 against Freeport and 9-3 versus North Catholic.  Several players made the score sheet in those two games: Chase Tomain 5 goals 2 assists, Colby Bartos 4 goals, 1 assist, Alec LeDonne 2 goals 1 assist, Cole Tomain 2 goals, 1 assist, Alex Amen 2 goals,  AJ Leah 1 goal, Scott Pushic 3 assists, and with 1 assist each Liam McMahon, Joey Massarelli, Matthew Amen, William Amen, Connor Reilly, and Max Keller.  

"We are off to a strong start to the season, the team is really coming together and showing what they can do" Head Coach Craig LeDonne said. Next up Friday October 14th, is North Hills Middle School. Go Mustangs!

Plum Middle School Brings the heat to PT!

The middle school came alive on Friday night, hammering Penn Trafford by the score of 13-3! "A big win for Plum Middle School," head coach Craig Ledonne stated. Multiple players were on the score sheet, led by Colby Bartos with 4 goals and an assist. Max Popienko also netted 4 goals. Cole Tomain scored 3 goals. Will Amen had 1 goal and 1 assist.  Cameron Mathia also scored. Max Keller had 3 assists,  Scott Pushic had 2 assists,  Alex LeDonne, Connor Reilly, & AJ Leah each had one assist. A great job by all!!

Plum Middle School Falls to South Fayette

Plum had another rough outing Monday and lost their second straight to South Fayette 6-2.  "The first two periods were hard, although the team came together in the third to score two" Head Coach Craig LeDonne said. Colby Bartos scored with as assist from William Amen. Max Popienko netted the other goal unassisted. Next up Penn Trafford, Friday September 2nd, 2022 at 8:30pm at Palmer Imaging Arena. Plum Middle School Pre Season Debut

The Middle School took to the ice for the Damian Bearley Memorial Tournament last night against Mars at Palmer Imaging Arena. It was a hard fought game, but the Mustangs unfortunately lost 5-4.  Head Coach Craig LeDonne stated "It was a good first game and the team fought hard, looking forward to a great season". Goal scorers were Colby Bartos who netted a hat trick and Max Keller. Also on the score sheet were Chase Tomain, Joey Massarelli, AJ Leah, and Desi Sciulli each with an assist. Next up is South Fayette Monday 8/29/2022 7:15pm at Palmer Imaging Arena. See you there!

Welcome To Plum Mustang Hockey!

The Plum Hockey Association is a volunteer run, 501(c)3 non-profit, amateur youth hockey association dedicated to giving students in the Plum Boro School District the chance to play ice hockey for their school.

As a club sport under the Plum Boro School District, our players adhere to the rules and guidelines put out by the Athletic Department, including academic eligibility and physicals.  Our players are eligible for school academic athletic awards and Varsity Letters.

The Plum Mustangs participate in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL).  

Our mission is to create an environment for our students to play ice hockey and improve their skills.  We aim to create well-rounded student athletes and to instill the values put forth by USA Hockey, including sportsmanship, respect for individual, integrity, pursuit of excellence, enjoyment, loyalty, and teamwork.
